"When did I last clean the air conditioner?"
You never have to remember that again.

Recurl is an app that tracks maintenance for your home's appliances, fixtures, and supplies — calculating the next due date from the last day you did it. Common maintenance items come preloaded with intervals, so you can start by simply picking them. Only the items that are due soon quietly change color, so there's no calendar to stare down.

Home maintenance has a habit of coming due right after you've forgotten it.

When did we last change the water filter cartridge?

You know it's "every 3 months" — but without remembering the last swap, there's no way to work out when the next one is due.

Calendar entries drift out of sync.

You set a fixed date, but the day you actually do it never matches — and before long, the entries just scroll past, ignored.

To-do apps just pile up the guilt.

Housework isn't deadline work. Yet the red unfinished badges keep stacking up, until you dread opening the app at all.

What matters isn't the date on the calendar — it's how long it's been since you last did it. That's the only thing Recurl looks at.

Add it, glance at the color, tap when it's done. That's all.

1

Start by picking from common items

Clean the AC filter, replace the water filter cartridge, wash the duvet cover… 48 standard maintenance items come preloaded with intervals — just pick yours and you're set. You can add your own items too, and "probably sometime last month" is close enough for the last-done date.

2

Only what's due soon changes color

Recurl calculates the next due date from the last time you did it. Only items coming due change color, so there's no need to check everything every day.

3

When it's done, tap "Done"

One tap restarts the cycle from that day. Because the clock starts from when you actually did it, your schedule never drifts.

Still Good Due Soon Overdue (just a color change — no nagging)

Built around one idea: an app you can check every day without it wearing you down.

Due-soon status, calculated for you

Recurl tracks how long it's been since you last did each item and shows the current status in green, yellow, or red — readable at a glance. A "days left" countdown makes it easy to see what's ahead.

Common items? Just pick them

48 everyday maintenance items come as templates, complete with names, intervals, and categories. No need to start from a blank page — just pick what applies to your home.

One morning digest, that's all

Notifications come once a day, in the morning. Recurl won't ping you all day long for every single item.* Notifications require a compatible app and notification permission on your device. On the web version, open Recurl to see today's due-soon items.

Organized by Category and Place

Sort items into categories like Kitchen, Plumbing, and Appliances — and filter by place, like Living Room or Bathroom. Maintenance for the whole house, without the clutter.

Your history, saved

Every "Done" tap is logged as history. Look back anytime to see when you last did something — and the time before that.

Photos, notes, and manuals too

Attach before-and-after photos, notes like "clean this spot next time," and PDF manuals to each item. "Where did that piece of paper go?" — solved.* Completely optional. Recurl works just fine without any of it.

Repair or replace? Sort it out in 3 minutes

When an appliance like an air conditioner, washer, or fridge breaks down, this free check weighs age, cost, repeat failures, and safety to help you decide what to do next.

Try the repair-or-replace check Nothing you enter is sent anywhere — it's calculated in your browser only.

No guilt for the days you didn't get to it.

Home maintenance isn't a work deadline. Nobody suffers if it slips a little, and it feels quietly good when you get it done. Recurl is built to stay at exactly that temperature.

Overdue just changes the colorNo alarm sounds, no mountain of red badges. "Overdue" is a status, not a failure.
Notifications that don't nagOne morning digest — that's the only time Recurl speaks up. Whether and when you act is entirely up to you.
"Done" feels goodTap it and the item turns green again, right away. Small wins, stacked up — that's the whole design.

Answers to what you're wondering, up front.

Where can I start using Recurl?

The iPhone app is available on the App Store. Use “Download on the App Store” on this page to get it. The Android app is on Google Play, and the web version is at my.recurl.app. Check each store for supported devices, OS versions, and regional availability.

What's the difference between the web version and the apps?

The web version needs no installation and runs directly in your browser. Its data is stored on your device (in the browser), so you can pick up where you left off on the same device and browser. You can install the iPhone and Android apps from their respective stores. Check the app you use for supported features, such as notifications, and their settings. We recommend using the web version in a single tab.

Can I move my web data to the apps?

The web version and native apps use different storage locations. Installing the app does not necessarily move your web data automatically. Before deleting anything, contact support for the migration options available in the version you use.

Can I use it with my family?

A shared family workspace is in development — and it's a top priority, built to end the "wait, did you clean the AC or did I?" back-and-forth. There's no release date yet. The current web version is designed for solo use.

Can I use Recurl for free?

Core features are free. Premium is available for people who want to manage more items. Check the in-app purchase screen for current pricing and free-trial eligibility.

Do I need an account?

No. The web version runs straight from your browser, and the apps are planned to work the moment you install them — no sign-up needed. We may add optional sign-in later to support family sharing, but solo use will stay registration-free.

What if I don't remember when I last did something?

A rough guess like "probably sometime last month" is perfectly fine. Once you tap "Done" for the first time, Recurl runs on exact dates from there.

How is this different from a to-do app or reminders?

Typical reminders fire on a date you set in advance. Recurl recalculates the next due date from the day you actually did the task. So nothing drifts out of sync when life gets in the way — and nothing guilts you for running late.

"When did I last do that?" is a question
that's overdue for retirement.
