Terms of Service (Recurl Supplementary Terms)

1. What the service provides

Recurl is a mobile app that automatically calculates when household equipment and fixtures are due for maintenance, based on when you last did it. Records are stored on your device, and no account is required.

2. Free features and paid features (Premium)

Recurl offers a free tier (with limits on how many tasks and categories you can register) and a paid Premium plan (a monthly or annual subscription) for use beyond those limits. Whether a free trial is available, and what conditions apply if so, are shown on the in-app purchase screen.

Purchases, renewals, and cancellations of the Premium plan are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems. The price, trial length, and cancellation steps shown by the store at the time of purchase take precedence over anything stated here.

If you return to the free tier, any tasks you've already registered will not be deleted or locked. Only new additions are subject to the free limits.

3. Handling of your records, and your own responsibility

Task names, completion dates, notes, and attached files are stored on your device, so they may be lost if the device is lost or damaged, if the app is uninstalled, or if the OS is reinstalled. From Settings, you can export structured data such as tasks, completion history, and notes as JSON. The export does not include photo or attachment file contents or device-local file paths, and the app does not currently provide a restore function. The export feature is not a backup feature. Please keep your own separate copy of any records and files that matter to you.

4. Prohibited activities

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the app
• Unauthorized access to the app or related services (such as the contact feature), or placing an excessive load on them
• Use for any purpose that violates the law or public order and morals
• Sending spam, harassment, or false bug reports through the contact feature

5. Changes to, or discontinuation of, the service

The operator may change Recurl's features or discontinue the service without prior notice. Where possible, we will announce significant changes in the app or on this page.

6. Disclaimer

The maintenance timing that Recurl calculates and displays is provided for reference only, and does not override the manufacturer's instructions or the guidance of a qualified professional. Please check the relevant product's manual before carrying out any maintenance, and use your own judgment. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the app.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the app will be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the court designated in the Common Terms of Service as the court of first instance.
