Privacy Policy (Recurl-Specific Provisions)

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Recurl is operated by Harks Inc. Our baseline approach to handling personal information follows the Common Privacy Policy that applies across all Harks Inc. products. This page supplements that policy with details specific to how Recurl actually handles data. Please read both together.

1. Where your records are stored

Task names, completion dates, notes, and attached files (such as photos or manuals) are stored only on your device. This data is never sent to an external server.

No account is required in the current version. You can use every feature of the app without signing in.

2. If you use the contact feature

Only when you send a question, feedback, or bug report from the Support screen in Settings, the following information is sent to our support management system:

This information is sent only when you tap the send button — nothing is sent automatically or in the background. Personally identifiable information is included only if you choose to enter an email address.

3. In-app purchases (Premium plan)

If you purchase or use the Premium plan, your purchase history, subscription status, and an anonymous identifier equivalent to a user ID are sent through our billing platform (RevenueCat). Your task names, notes, attached files, or other usage data are never sent.

4. Notifications

Once a day, Recurl sends a single notification summarizing the tasks due that day. This notification is generated and delivered entirely on your device, without going through an external server.

5. About future changes

In the future, alongside a workspace feature that will let families or shops share tasks across multiple people, we plan to add account registration (for example, authentication by email address). When we add this feature, we will update this page and clearly note what has changed.

6. Contact us, or request deletion

For questions about how your data is handled, or to request deletion of your records, please contact us from Settings → Support in the app, or via the Support page. Requests such as disclosure or deletion under the Common Privacy Policy are also handled through the contact channel described in that policy.
